Plain language first. If anything here conflicts with what a coach or player was told directly, this page governs.
Swag31 lets a team set up its own online store for made-to-order apparel. Buyers order gear, a print-on-demand partner makes and ships it, and the team gets paid out through its own connected Stripe account.
Every item's price is set by the team. From each sale, the platform recovers three real costs before anything else: the print cost for that item, the shipping charged to cover getting it to the buyer, and the card processing fee charged by the payment processor. On top of those costs, Swag31 takes a platform fee of 5% of the item's price. This fee is not hidden — it is disclosed here and shown in every payout breakdown a team can see in its dashboard. Whatever is left after costs and the platform fee goes to the team.
Each team pays a one-time Season Pass fee covering roughly 12 months from activation. The amount depends on how the team pays:
Every item is printed after it is ordered — nothing is held in inventory. Because of this, Swag31 does not offer refunds or exchanges for reasons like wrong size chosen, change of mind, or delivery delays caused by the shipping carrier. If an item arrives misprinted, damaged, or materially different from what was ordered, the buyer is entitled to a reprint or a refund of that item, whichever is more appropriate — contact support@swag31.com with the order number and a photo of the issue. See the Refunds page for details.
A chargeback filed with a card issuer, instead of contacting support directly, removes funds that have already been paid out or are owed to the team — it does not just reverse a platform charge. Swag31 will contest chargebacks that contradict a resolution already offered (such as a reprint), and repeated chargebacks from the same buyer may result in that buyer being blocked from future orders. Legitimate misprint or damage claims are always better handled through support first, since that path is faster and does not affect the team's payout.
Teams are paid through their own Stripe account, connected during setup. Stripe handles identity verification, payout scheduling, and tax reporting for the team's account. Swag31 never holds a team's funds outside of the short window between a sale and Stripe's payout schedule.
Many athletes using Swag31 to share and sell their team's gear are minors. A minor may participate — claiming a player profile, sharing a store link, appearing on a roster — only with a parent or guardian's consent. Coaches and team admins are responsible for collecting that consent before inviting a minor athlete to participate.
We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Swag31 after an update means you accept the revised terms.
