What a team pays

• To start: $0. There is no monthly fee.
• Season Pass, paid by card: $89 once, up front.
• Season Pass, from first sales: $99, collected in portions out of the team's share of early sales. If the team sells nothing, it owes nothing.
• Season length: a Season Pass covers about 365 days from activation.
• Platform fee: 5% of each item's price.

What comes out of each sale

Swag31 recovers three real costs before the team's share is calculated: the print cost of the item, the shipping the buyer paid, and card processing (about 2.9% plus 30¢ per order on US cards). Then the 5% platform fee is applied to the item price. The team keeps the remainder. Each team sets its own prices.

Worked example (illustrative)

A $38 tee that costs about $11 to print, sold as a single-item order after the Season Pass is already covered. This is an example, not a promise: print costs and shipping vary by item, and your numbers will differ.
